Maternal Line: |

Description: |
These frogs are from a crossing 2 transgenic lines: Xla.Tg(hsp70:Cre)Ryff (RRID:EXRC_0035/NXR_0.0121) and Xla.Tg(CMV:eCFP,eYFP)2Ryff (RRID:EXRC_0031/NXR_0.0040). Cre recombinase activity is heat-shock inducible and tadpoles show ubiquitous yellow fluorescence. The inducible Cre activity and the yellow fluorescence could segregate independently in offspring. |
Phenotype Description: |
When heat-shocked in embryogenesis, activated eYFP makes the larvae yellow. |
