WILLIAM KEPLER WHITEFORD PROFESSOR

Cell and tissue movements of gastrulation and early morphogenesis. We are primarily interested in the physical mechanics of these movements from the subcellular generation of forces to the large scale integration of bulk elastic properties and convergent extension.
