Research Area

Work in the lab is focused on understanding how cell lineage specification operates in the developing Xenopus endoderm. Current projects are: 1) Genome editing in Xenopus 2) Understanding the gene regulatory network of Ngn3 that controls endocrine cell fate specification. 3) Focusing on the role of Celf3 in controlling translation in endodermal progenitors. 4) Transdifferentiation of liver to pancreas.
