Kids First Funding Opportunity

The Gabriella Miller Kids First Pediatric Research Program (Kids First) program published a new funding opportunity Announcement (FOA): Expert-Driven Small Projects to Strengthen Gabriella Miller Kids First Discovery (R03 Clinical Trial Not Allowed) (RFA-RM-21-011) to engage the rapidly growing Kids First research community and their diverse expertise in a variety of projects. These projects are expected to enhance the utility of the Kids First Data Resource and catalyze discovery of the etiologies underlying childhood cancer and structural birth defects. Applications are due June 18, 2021.

Pre-Application Webinar for RFA-RM-21-011:

The NIH staff will host a Pre-Application Webinar for all interested prospective applicants on March 29, 2021 at 12pm Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).

At the webinar staff will discuss the overall structure and goals of Kids First program and the specific FOA, and answer questions from prospective applicants. Pre-registration for the webinar is required and participants are asked to submit their questions ahead of time to KidsFirst@od.nih.gov. Participation in the webinar is optional.
