Research Description:
The aim of the Biotechnology Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic is to provide basic research in the field of molecular biology sciences at a top level and to advance the transfer of biotechnological methods and molecular tools to the diagnosis and treatment of cell pathology in human medicine or other important areas of human activity. In January 2016, the Institute moved to a new BIOCEV center building in Vest, which was established with the support of the Operational Program Research and Development for Innovation ( www.biocev.eu ). The Institute is involved in two of the Center's five research programs. We want to make full use of this opportunity to produce top-notch scientific results that will be transferred to clinical practice.
